      Terrible work on my SUV, charged me for an engine wash and never did the service and never said to me that they didn’t have time to do the service. Last year (2024) one of the employees decided to go l to lunch on my money that was in my glovebox. They tell you that you need to bring your vehicle back every year for a check up, but they just want it so they can find another service for them to do.

      The Zeibart exterior maintenance package I bought when I purchased a new car was the worst purchase of my entire lifetime! For $1,000, it was nothing more than an annual car wash! We totally felt lied to regarding the services we would receive buying this package "deal". Total waste of money.

      I tried to locate this customer and could not locate. If the customer could provide what location services were conducted at and the date of the service. If services were conducted under a different name please provide that as well. Once I have that, I can research and get the correct manager to address the issues/concerns.

      I suppose the question is why would the sprayers of the Ziebart coating, spray the underbody with water before applying the coating? Potentially affecting 2 cars worth over $50k.
      Would love to speak to the owner regarding that.

      I believe my father, who is his disabled veteran (89 years old) that has dementia and lives on Social Security was hustled into Ziebart’s most expensive paint and dent package at the price of $10,500. He went there to only get an undercoating on his *** ******** that is already five years old that he bought used and is probably only worth about $15,000. My dad is not mentally sound which caused him to believe they were only charging him 400. He called in the same day to see if they could stop the process, but they told him they were already six hours into the job, and there was nothing that they could do. After multiple phone calls, they did end up taking around $3000 off but still left him with a $6800 bill. Leave a man that can barely walk uses a cane and is not mentally there should be asked about a $10,000 package, if you talk to him for more than five minutes, you can easily realize he’s not all there. This place seems to pray on the elderly to get them to pay whatever costs for warranties they’ll never use. In this economy, who offers $10,000 packages on used vehicles that aren’t worth more than 15 grand.

      Much to our dismay we have found out the hard way that Ziebart Rochester did not do a very good job rustproofing our new vehicle and not only that, when our two front fenders rusted badly, they refused to honor our warranty. We had our 2014 *** treated against rust right after we bought it and got it inspected/treated every year up until 2022. Although we were scheduled for another inspection/treatment in October 2022, we were not able to do so because we had to make a sudden move to Washington State in August 2022. In Washington there is only one Ziebart and it is located about four hours from where we live, so we ended up not getting an inspection/treatment in 2022. Then in April 2023, after driving on a bumpy road, we suddenly found out that both front fenders were badly rusted from the inside out. Also, after taking out the fiber protection panel inside the wheel-well, we found out that when they treated our *** they did not do the inside of our front fender panels. Furthermore, they never noticed this during subsequent inspections. Once this problem came to light, we contacted Ziebart Rochester to get our vehicle repaired under the "Ziebart Warranty"; however, they have refused to help us resolve this problem it any way. Basically, they are saying that just because we missed the October 2022 inspection/treatment they were not going to honor our warranty; even though we could not get an inspection in October 2022 because we moved to Washington, and even though it was quite obvious that they missed treating the inside of our fender panels and the rusting had to be going on for quite some time even before October 2022. We made a lot of purchases at Ziebart Rochester, for two different vehicles, so we were very surprised and disappointed to find out that they did not do a very good job rustproofing our new RAM and once a problem arose, they were very dishonest and would not even honor our warranty.

      To whom it may concern,
      I have been a Ziebart customer @ Lyell Ave. Rochester, NY. 14606 for over 20 years and I’ve had about enough with dishonesty. Ziebart has serviced at least 5 of my vehicles. In the past I’ve had questions on the products and up to this point, there has not been a reasonable customer satisfaction approach. It is always about what was there before the customer purchased the vehicle. Why, do you guys sell a new vehicle service product to a used car owner if its not suitable or appropriate for a used vehicle? If these application options and results were explained at the time of purchase, it can help the customer make the right decision, but this does not happen. In stead, the customer is taken to the sales office where they are overwhelmed with different pricey products that might happen to be on sale that month but not necessarily needed for that particular vehicle. I am very upset and disappointed because I have complained about the rust coming out on my 2013 ******** for the last 3 years and no one has taken the time to give me options. Every person has explained to me how rust was there all along but not visible. My response has been “Why and how can you sell me a Rust Inhibitor product that will not work? Why didn’t you do a proper inspection to make sure you are selling me a service that is needed? Ziebart could have sold me instead a solution that would have stopped the rust 3 years ago and applied a protective film to the lower part of my vehicle to protect against salt and stones. I found this out today when a young lady started to answer my questions and give me true solutions. I also asked about buffing out some surface marks since I had some kind of diamond finish protector that supposingly would protect the car paint and the answer was “it will cost extra”. I have paid thousands of dollars over the years and have earned the right to be heard and given a proper resolution.

      l have used 40+ for years on several cars. I am now moving out of the area and the local Ziebart tells me on my present car it will not be warranty because that only applies to the Local Franchise.
      I WAS NEVER TOLD THIS WHEN PAYING THOUSANDS OF $$ OVER THE YEARS. I would not recommend them to anyone knowing this.

      Scheduled last 2 coats of ceramic finish for Dec. 1, 2022, on October 21, 2022. Put on credit card. Was not told business would immediately deposit charge into their account. Normally, businesses wait until the work is completed. Totally out of my past experience.
      Cancelled job 11/2/2022. Called John Coleman, the sales rep, and told him I was cancelling. He tried to stall me. I said I wanted payment refunded. He said it would take 7-10 business days to make the refund. Why? All he would have had to do was to cancel the job, the payment-in-waiting would have been cancelled, and I would be happy. But no! I have to wait 7-10 days--for whom?? I wrote to the General Manager 2 days ago stating what I just wrote. Gave him options of calling, emailing, or writing. Nada! I called my credit card company and filed a dispute this afternoon. They will resolve it for me.
      This business practice of Ziebart seems shady, unethical, fishy. Who's really at the top? Let me make a guess.
      I do not trust this business, do not recommend them, will never turn to them. No Stars!!

      I was sold an life time service of rust protection on my vehicle which was a 2008 chevy suburban about 3 years ago.. I take my vehicle into the chevy dealer to get it serviced and they refuse to service my vehicle when i asked why, they said the frame is rusted through. I contacted ziebart in Rochester ny on lyell who sold me the service were I paid almost 3k for it the diamond package. I also had it service last year at the ziebart in ontario ny just a year ago and no one told me my frame was rusting through. I asked the manager at both locations if I can atleast transfer the undercoated protection onto my new vehicle no money back that I had to recently purchase they said no it is not there fault because they do not offer warranty on used vehicles but zeibart still sold me the service ?
