Our parish purchased an Elevette and it was installed and operational on 10/1/21. On 10/24/21–went into lock mode and wasn’t working. We have to reset the elevator every time someone needs to use it. We were told to do the trouble shooting on our own which means resetting it with a switch that is in an inaccessible part of the building and requires people to climb a ladder. It is very dangerous. Contacted Omni in June because elevette could no longer be reset. 7/1/22–2 people came and erased the memory and got it working. 7/3/22–not working (locked). 7/8/22–one person came to fix it but couldn’t. 7/15/22-2 people came and got it working. 7/17/22–broken/locked. Emailed Mr. G******* detailing the history and our request to have the elevator fixed and reliable. 8/2/22–the keys were determined to be malfunctioning and removed by Omni. We were told they would be replaced. Emailed Mr. G******* 8/8/22–asking the status of the keys. He said they were being outsourced and said the elevette was “locking” because we were not opening the door after it was called to the floor. We were never instructed that this would happen. We emailed 8/27/22 asking for an update. No reply. We are still having to reset the elevette frequently which is very dangerous. As of today, the keys have not been replaced and the elevette locks even if you do not enter it fast enough. Old people and people in wheel chairs are slow moving. We want the keys replaced, sensitivity settings adjusted, the reset key moved to an accessible location, OR the elevette replaced because it is a lemon.

Message taken by phone:  I tried to contact the customer numerous times and left several messages.  We did visit the property and  nothing was wrong with the elevator and nothing was discovered during regular routine maintenance.  If there is a problem that we are not aware of, please contact us.
