      I have shopped at this store for 21 years and it has always been pleasant. I don’t know if it’s age discrimination or I was identified as a potential thef but I was followed and in one situation up I was the only person in an aisle and a male employee watched me shop. I would like an explanation of why I was was treated this way and hope you can say something that I will remove the anger at your store.

      I did a grocery deliver order on Jan 10. I understood Wegmans does a higher temporary hold and I calculated that in on my card. Full actual lower amount without hold posted on jan 11. I go use card jan 12 and gets declined three times. I check it out and my email states im over limit by few hundred dollars, but zero pending transactions and 0 credit available but balance is only the actual wegman amount after hold release, which Im saying to myself that is really weird. I got worried thinking maybe fraud. When I called my card, there was no other transaction found. So we had to go dig deeper. they told me that Wegmans charged me the actual amount plus the few hundred on top of it. They made a mistake and deleted charge so I would not be held liable for fees, but when they did this, they placed a hold at same time for amount on my card and sent credit back instead. My card said the credit can be up to five days or so now I cant use my card all week. I have never had this happen before. I have done the delivery service a few times. Sadly, I was planning on giving my driver a larger tip once hold came off since it such a high hold (much higher than actual amount). Now I cant. I hope I can still tip her more later. So expect they may charge $400-500 total on $167 and lock up your card for a week. This is awful.

      overall customer service decline or lack of it.
      I dropped 3 months prescriptions (for my daughter) at Wegmans pharmacy Abingdon, Maryland store. to make store short they lost them, after reviewing their security camera , Kristen the manager informed my daughter that she saw me but I did not leave prescriptions, which means I am either a liar or hallucinating about what I did, to clear my name with my daughter I spoke with store manager asking to see camera footage which off course he declined and added Kristen cannot apologize for lying to my daughter,
      I am sensing a trend of decline in customer services or even caring about customer service in the current time. not sure if it is the byproduct of COVID or...., but what I can see, customer service that was the pride of big corporations no longer exists, now you can lie and not admit a mistake as result it will get worse and I am sure we all know why, lack of responsibility makes you repeat not repair

      This company is overcharging in certain more affluent or tourist areas. I put an order in online in the incorrect location, the price was 120 dollars when I changed the location to Ocean NJ, the price escalated to 198 dollars. This is price gouging and the company needs to look at overall pricing practices. All food stores in this area are greatly overpriced and something needs to be done about it.
