      If I could give a negative 10 star rating I would. This business sold my mother a defective hearing aid and then refused to help her get warranty service for the hearing aid. We had to go to another center to receive help. This business takes advantage of elderly people. Beware.

      The situation was explained when you walked in the practice, that your moms hearing aid was non functional, you had chosen to go to another practice due to her changing to a NYS insurance and that it would not be "free". The new practice you chose is charging you a $50 fee and you did not want to pay it. The patient's new insurance plan is not accepted in our practice. The hearing aid in question was from a "third party purchase" is covered under the manufacturer 3 year warranty. There are still costs associated with diagnosing the problem, seeing a provider and reprogramming as necessary.
