My original transaction was November 2022. My contract specified a money back guarantee if 1 on 1 did not meet their obligation. They did not. Christopher W*** indicated that I would receiving a prorated refund of 50% of my $6,900 fee. I have been in correspondence with Mr. W*** numerous times since November 2023 where he indicates that I will be receiving a check for $3,450. To this date I have not received anything. Copy of the contract and the NUMEROUS attempts to get my rebate attached.

This client contacted us before doing her second event requesting a refund. She therefor did not honor her contract. We were willing to provide a refund once we came back to the area and found another advisor to take her spot. In the attached document you can see that as she says "I will take a refund.  A personal situation has come up and I do not have any time to devote to this." We are willing to provide a half refund as mentioned to her but once we come back to the area and have her spot filled. Until then she can do another event with us if preferred or wait until we come back to the area.

On 10/5/21 Christopher W*** from 1 on 1 financial planning, now name changed to the 1on1 event (www.************.com) that's how he introduced himself, but when we tracked our check, company registered to Christopher Joyce, saying they have 75-100 Business owners making over 6-7 figures (our target audience) gauranteeing 75 appointments with them or refund the money. (contract included). Seminar conducted on 3/16/2022 but the speaker Brian B***** of ****** ******* spoke about his company etc. and I got to speak barely 10 mins. See lot of consumer compalints against Bailey as well. Not a single apt set up. Bailey grabbed few cards and I followed up. None of them had money to afford our services. Chris promised me a full refund after failing to setting another event in my target audience. When i kept asking for my money in 2022, Chris said they will send check of full amount after expiration of contract which was March 16, 2023. I have been following consistently but every time they make a new story but no check. Chris called and said they have to get a new advisor as their client, to pay me, which sounds like a Ponzi scheme. They used my money to pay someone else? Our business was affected with this marketing gimmick during Covid, inflation and market downturn. We trusted them and put other marketing programs on hold, not to speak of time lost in chasing them. To date I have not received the $4900 that we paid them. Please help us getting our money back. We tried very professionally to handle this situation but seems it is not effective. Hence looking fo help from your organization. If they had not said the gauranteed apppointments and refund assurance, we would never have tried them.

This is a pretty basic situation....*****'s expected 75 people to all invest a minimum of 1 Million Dollars with her and that's unrealistic. Because of that she wants a full refund. We have a legally binding signed contract with her and she broke it when she refused to show up to our next event so we were forced to cancel it which cost our company a lot of money. We offered her the opportunity to do another and she refused so we have been unable to fulfill the contract for that reason. Because of the threatening calls and endless emails setting countless unrealistic expectations we have told her the expectation is that she fulfills her end of the contract and she isn't eligible for a refund until she does. We will not be black mailed by someones threats and name calling. We've been doing this for way too many years and have had far too many successful events with hundreds of advisors across the country to allow this kind of thing to go on. If this continues we will be forced to report her to ***** and contact our attorneys.

      Customer Answer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I am very very surprised by their response. Now they have completely changed the story. They are claiming I cancelled the event when in reality, they cancelled it several times, sometimes for Covid, sometimes for hurricane and eventually when they scheduled the event, they cancelled based on low turnout and promised the refund. (Email document proves it). When I was concerned the first event did not produce the results, they kept assuring me the next one will produce the results and kept assuring me I will get 75 apt as mentioned in the contract. I have followed every instruction they gave me! They claim I am threatening?? I am following up  to get my check that they promised will be delivered by March end based on their contract and email. The fact that you are threatening me with *****, I will contact my attorneys about this threat. I expect my check by end of June, so please tell them to resolve this at their earliest.

      Regards,

      ****** ******
