The owner is a mean old man who threatens to take your home if you dispute charges due to their HORRIBLE workmanship
      No one speaks English
They break personal property and the owner and his nephew tell you it’s all your fault
No return calls from nephew who is the point of contact ever

At the end of the project, we proudly corrected all of Mrs. ****** issues that she presented to us. There were carpet issues, these issues were a clear manufacture defect. This was explained to Mrs. ***** and she understood that these were just issues created by the manufacturing process. RFKB does sell carpet, LVT, cabinets but we do not manufacture them. The best we can do is respond to any issues that arise and react to them. We did in a very professional and timely manner. We stood by our product and replaced the carpet with no arguments. Since the final installation of the carpet there have been no issues brought to our attention. The LVT was a warehouse error and was quickly remedied and the correct floor is installed in their home. The stairs were a challenge because of the unrealistic expectations the customer had. Mrs. ***** did not like some of the details of the material she purchased from us. We do not like to have customers unhappy with their selections, so we switched out the products at no cost to her. We did replace them 2X but that was in effort to make a customer happy even though she had unrealistic expectations.
Things break or get damaged during installation. That is a normal occurrence that may happen when doing installation or a remodeling project. The 2 treads that got damaged were replaced and the stairs were completed 100%. Again, we came across the issue and corrected what we needed to correct.
The backsplash that got installed did finish with scratches on the tile. We do not know how those scratched got there. The product was selected from a **** ***** product that Mrs. ***** was adamant to use. We don’t typically install other vendors tiles but took an exception for her. The tile was purchased and unfortunately the scratches were not noticed until the tile was on the wall. Her statement that we used sanded grout is false. We do not carry sanded grout in our warehouse. We use a premium grout from ********* that is approved to use on glass tile. The person that installed the grout is not a truck driver. He is our in-house service person that performs this type of work on a day-to-day basis. We don’t know why the tile was scratched but we purchased the material again and reinstalled the tile after she got back from a 1-month vacation.
During the project Mr. and Mrs. ***** were asked to leave the installers alone and let them work. This made it difficult to be productive for the installers when on site. The *****’s were inspecting their work every step of the way. Even as far as each individual backsplash tile as it was being installed. Many of the delays and issues were because they would not let us finish anything 100% without interfering. We repeatedly requested that they allow us to finish our job before making a punch list. Punch lists are for after the project is complete, not during the project. For example, they never allowed us to do our final coat of paint prior to complaining about their issues. In normal remodeling projects the final coat of paint would be the final thing to complete before turning over the project. They took it upon themselves to try and paint even though the project was not completed. Again, not allowing us to complete our work before doing a punch list.
RFKB is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against a person’s language they speak. We hire people based on their skill set and our company needs. We have bilingual employees and the person doing the work in his house is a skilled tradesman.
At the end of the project, we finished the contract 100% and had not heard from Mr. or Mrs. ***** until this post to the BBB. We do have pictures available of the finished project, which can be shared upon request. If there are any issues that they feel still need to be addressed, we are willing to take care of them. They just need to communicate to us and we will do so.

Not sure where to start but guess I want to say never use this company
The owner is rude and made threats to us
The designer screwed up and ordered the wrong door fronts for our kitchen cabinets
Our floor was damaged by installers but we are stuck fixing it
My dream kitchen turned into a nightmare dealing with this company- now it’s just a new kitchen
