    On 2/16/23 I paid $179 to Global Exterminating to come out & spray for Bees/Wasps/Yellow Jackets. This was to prevent the early building of nests that takes place in the early spring months of March April & May in upstate NY. By the end of May Global had yet to come out and treat our home & the specific areas we requested on the property. I contacted them asking if they had an estimated time/date of service, as we have family members that are allergic to bee stings. I alerted them to the fact I was already noticing a great deal of yellow jacket activity especially around our wooden pergola out back. I was assured although they were behind they would be out the next week & someone would be in contact. This did not happen. I sent a follow up email & never heard back. In fact so much time lapsed I finally contacted another company who immediately came out and remedied the situation. I contacted Global back on 6/1/23 left a message & didn’t hear back. I called again on 6/1/23 advised them I had to contact someone else as I couldn’t take the risk with our at risk family members. I was told they understood & they assured me they would mail me out my complete refund. It is now 7/6/23 & I have yet to receive my refund. I’ve called & emailed multiple times. I was told during one call the owners were away on vacation but would be back on 6/21/23 & my refund would be sent out ASAP. It never was. I called again & was told the owner was back from vacation & it was on her “to do list.” I have yet to receive my refund as promised. I again sent an email with no response. I would like my refund mailed ASAP as promised. Global has been completely unprofessional, never returning calls, never returning emails, and cashing my check was apparently immediately placed on the owner’s “to do list,” however sending my promised refund for services not rendered, has yet to make the list. Please assist me in receiving me promised refund. Thank you in advance.

    Response taken by phone:  We normally begin service in April but due to the weather we were delayed.  When the customer called to cancelled we did agree to a refund which has since been issued.  We apologize for the delay in processing the refund but consider the matter resolved.
