    On Aug 22, 2024, around 4 pm. Town & Country Pest Solutions, came to my home to spray for spiders. The technician did not wear any protective clothing, over his street clothes. The main focus of the spiders was in my bedroom: the technician was in that room several times. 2-3 days later, i saw a bed bug on my bed. I spoke with the company about this development & told them that i felt the this bug was carried in my their technician. I felt this way, as I am disabled, and homebound. I have not left the apartment for the past 3 months, nor has anyone else been in my place - only their technician. In addition, bedbugs are known to "hitchhike" on clothing, shoes, books, etc. It is the main way it is transferred from one property to another. And, the technician had been at several properties before coming to mine.
    As i now HAD to have someone take a closer look, I asked them the procedure for this. they told me both the treatment cost and the inspection fee. But, in trying to clarify, I asked them what if they didn't find anything? As i doubted they would. They said " Then per regulations we cannot treat and charge the inspection fee". Since they told me there would be no fee if they found nothing, I went ahead and scheduled an inspection. They found no evidence of any bedbug activity. that lone bug was the only one. I received an inspection report that showed no charge for the inspection. But 2 days later, i got an invoice charging me $100.79. I contacted them, they deny EVERYTHING. They take no responsibility for the likely transfer of the bug into my apartment, no responsibility for not wearing protective clothing, and no responsibility for their poor grammar, which told me there would be no charge. they just want me to ignore that fact and pay them anyway. They MEANT to say, "we cannot treat, BUT WE STILL charge the inspection fee". I only OKd the inspection, as i was fairly certain they would not find anything.

    I am writing to notify you that i have resolved a complaint with the business owner. This is RE complaint #******** They have agreed to void the invoice they sent me. I am satisfied.
