      On 5/01/2021 I contacted *** home warranty company which I had an extended home warranty with. *** assigned Howe and Basset plumbing to my repair and gave them my phone number to schedule an assessment. I was called by Howe and Bassett for scheduling.
      On 6/21/2021 a plumber came to my home, took the $60 fee as stipulated by my contract with *** warranty. The plumber called his supervisor left and returned with a plastic faucet from **** ***** and replaced the faucet.
      I received a bill from Howe and Basset for $421. I called Howe and Bassett and also called *** warranty.
      It seems Howe and Bassett per their contract *** were supposed to get prior approval before completing the repair as stated to me by *** warranty.
      I assumed this was all taken care of after speaking with the guy from Howe and Bassett. I just received a bill from Howe and Bassett for $421 dated 8/18/2022 stating over 90 days past due.

      This is in response to a complaint you received about our business. The ID number is ********. 
      Upon reviewing Mr. *******'s account, we discovered there was a duplication in our system as a result of a data conversion. The error has been corrected. We sent Mr. ******* an email to that effect. 
      We would have preferred that Mr. ******* contacted us directly to resolve the matter, as we would have cheerfully done so. In any event, the matter is now resolved.
