      BP manages the apartment where i live. After 17.5 mo (Jan 16,2022-May 24,2023) of not having a working elevator, i let them know (Nov. 2022) d/t continued spine deterioration that i needed handicap access buttons to common areas and parking garage. i was told it would be an 'undue financial burden for this property'. After many further attempts, contacting many different staff, providing an estimate and contract they need to sign if i can continue with installation, there has been no progress. Last contact in Aug, told they would review it one last time. This is in violation of FAir housing Act, as they cannot prohibit me from the work. This co. is seen as great community leaders, but not so much on the personal level.
      Any suggestions? i have completed all state and federal complaints and am working with a local DOJ attn'y. i have seen in the past that your co. has helped with negotiations when customers, etc have not had any response and was hoping.... thanks for your time and assistance.
