2 starsMy view on graves brothers. The sales rep insisted he could do the roof cheaper, he was very persistent. They had 2 people come out and take measurements of my roof. Second day of them working on the roof they realized the didn’t have enough material. They did a crap job tarping off my roof and weren’t going to get the material in for another week. Tying up my driveway for 2 weeks with the other roofing material and the dumpster, and this was supposed to be a four day install at max. During the first 2 days of them installing I noticed around my chimney wasn’t installed correctly. I let the supervisor know multiple times and instead of ordering replacement material with their other order they ignored what I said and finished the other parts of the roof. Finally when final payment was due I made mention of the issue and they finally agreed to fix it. While waiting for the fix they requested the remainder of their payment ( contract says substantially complete not fully complete) for the job, so I had to pay but they held back 2000 till they did the fix. A week and a half later the part that needed to be fixed was fixed, but at no point did the homeowner (me) sign off saying all the work was complete, but the supervisor for graves brothers did. The whole order took a month to complete with little to no communication. They only texted 2 times with pics of progress on the roof. So if your looking for a company that can’t put orders in correctly, doesn't communicate, doesn’t listen, and takes a month for a four day project, and can get their money before the work is done, then this is the company for you.

1 starVery unprofessional, charged me $3000 on roof repair and leaking even worse the next day. Didn't do the work that was started in the contract... Called and left messages with management. Nobody called back. we had a third party company that didn't speak English work on our home. Couldn't ask them questions due they didn't speak any English...A total lie all the way through from the quote to finish... Their salesman called screaming at me .. This company is a scam!!! save your money go find a real roofing company!!Review fromSusan G

5 starsWhen looking to do our roofing/siding/windows/door project for our two car garage & mud-room, I researched and had requested quotes from several companies. The response from Graves was the best! Immediate response and appointment set up with Alex S**** for an estimate. Alex was great, explained everything, and the documentation of the quote was thorough. Alex's follow-up and willingness to adjust the project to fit our budget, as well as assist with financing options was super. The other companies' responses paled in comparison, if they even responded at all. The reviews I read, as well as the service we received, led me to go with Graves. Were there less expensive options? Yup, and I'm sure the service and products would have also been less. We have our new roof, installed by Dave and his team, and they did a stellar job. Everything was done as they said, including clean-up, and Dave followed up with us throughout the installation to keep us apprised of the progress. We are looking forward to the rest of our project as it progresses. Even our neighbors set up estimates with them having watched them work and having seen the end product. 5 starsJohn and Nate did a great job installing the beautiful siding. They even removed a door and fixed the hole it left! We are so pleased with the results. Thank you all again. However, now we have to get the payment finished. I wrote a check when they were here, but it was not for the full payment that was given as a quote. I will call today before noon.

5 starsI had Graves Bros. replace the old roof on my house. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. The project team planning the project was extremely thorough, timely, and answered my questions. The crew that replaced my roof did a first-rate job and completed the work in a single day. They went above what was specified in the contract and replaced several sheets of failing plywood underlayment. The clean up afterwards was thorough and complete. I would have no qualms again hiring Graves Bros. for any additional home improvement projects.Graves Brothers Home Improvement

5 starsWe had an excellent experience with Graves. Roof looks great. It was completed in one day. All waste materials were cleaned up. Price was comparable with other estimates. Importantly, site manager, Liam, explained in detail what was going to be done and when the job was completed he again showed us what was actually done. 1 starI hired them to replace our windows, gutters, and siding. Things started off poorly with terrible communication and delays before work even started. When work started they had 10 non - English speaking installers which is fine, but I was unable to communicate my concerns and there were problems and concerns immediately. Occasionally a “foreman” made an appearance but he didn't really know what was going on even when he was there, which was seldom.
I had to take multiple days off work to keep an eye on them. I caught a bunch of mistakes but they still snuck plenty of things past me, that I didn’t find until later.
Graves has given me nothing but problems. I have pictures of one guy standing on my railing to install siding, which then broke as a result and even with the pictures they still won't admit to it. They caused other damages to my property that were outside their scope of work and never mentioned a word about doing so. I had to keep checking around my property to find what they broke throughout the project.
On the install, I tried to tell them proactively as things weren't installed properly, but they wouldn't hear it. I did ample research throughout the course of this project. There were weeks where they wouldn't show up and wouldn't respond to my calls, and my calls were in regard to things that were unfinished: 4 windows missing, half a wall not sided, and incorrect gable vents installed.
When they finally came back they slapped it together improperly and started harassing me, demanding payment and told me they were going to send me to collections.
The job was so screwed up and it still is. I got the town inspector involved and had another contractor assess the situation. The town inspector failed them on the improperly installed windows, the polar wrap installation and some aspects of the siding install. The other contractor said that their job was shameful and a disgrace to tradesmen. Still they refused to come back to fix it, unless they were paid.Review fromNathan T

1 starI would not recommend this company. I work out of town in the construction trade and I hired this company to install new exterior doors and side our home. The siding was done very well. Only issues was the language barrier of the crew we could not communicate with. The door install was TERRIBLE. To this day our doors do not work properly. I sent photos and video the day they were completed showing they were not even secure to the house and they did not latch. With multiple complaints to the company they would not work around our schedule so I could be home to meet them to fix them or even show them the issues. Owner refused to call back and make the job right. I am in this Feild and know good customer service and professional service and quality. This company does not have it. I will be happy to share our whole story with anyone before they hire this company. Don’t be fooled by the big name and fancy commercials. It’s a scam and you will over pay and have issues. BBB should hold them accountable for the mistreatment they do and how they take advantage of homeowners.Graves Brothers Home Improvement
