      Greg’s company replaced part of my roof 2 1/2 years ago. They damaged my new Premium **** deck so I took him to small claims court and won. The next fall the roof started leaking and because we had “history” per Greg he would do nothing about it. I havebeentotheBCB and have paid an independant contractor to determine to cause with no response from Greg. I have been working with several other roofers getting estimates, Greg’s insurance company, as well as mine, only to find out this week that faulty workmanship is not covered in NYS! I now have interior damage and mold which I just discovered in April because I had been ill for 3 weeks. I paid for mold inspection and testing and am told that that is not covered either. I cannot afford to repair the roof or the interior damage including the mold abatement. I understand Greg has sold the business. My attorney told me it would cost me $10,000 to take him to Civil Court and he still may not pay. I don’t have money for that either. Don’t know what to do.

      I had a 2,600 sq ft double layer tear off, equating to roughly 13,000 pounds of debris, they did a great job of protecting scrubs, the deck, shed and everything around the house. I knew there was water damage requiring plywood panels to be replaced, I didn’t realize that many panels without any water damage were de-laminating and therefor also had to be replaced. I agreed that every panel they removed needed to be replaced. So, if replacing your roof anticipate that far more panels may need to be replaced than you expect. They had a sizable crew and managed to complete the tear off, install the new roof and clean up in one day which was great. The scheduling of the work, workmanship and clean-up all exceeded my expectations.

      I hired Greg's company to do a full roof replacement. They did point out rotten wood and an overhang that needed some better framing and I agreed that it should be fixed. I knew the roof was original (over 40 years old) so it didn't surprise me that there might be extra work after they tore the roof off and discovered all the bad wood. Professional and courteous. They were in and out quickly and cleaned up the work site well. Very pleased and will highly recommend to others.
