    Purchased 2013 ****** ***** from this retailer including extended warranty in October 2024. Assured by seller vehicle has new battery, new all wheel tires, and windshield chip would be fully repaired and guaranteed after purchase. As of today, 3/7/25, I have been in touch with them to report ongoing issues with wiring causing brakes to fail, radio to fail, engine to not start, back up camera to fail, all wheel drive to fail. I learned today at first oil change car’s battery is not new, nor are tires. Requesting refund of car plus cost of warranty, less mileage driven, as the failure of seller has caused one accident that could have been fatal had I not been an experienced winter driver.

    BBB spoke to the General Manager at the business and the following was relayed: She purchased an Extended Warranty when she bought the car from us- she purchased a good Extended Warranty.  The issues she's having would be covered under that Extended Warranty.  But she doesn't want to go through the process because she doesn't want to wait.  There is a process associated with the Extended Warranty that she has to follow.  She needs to make an appointment, get the vehicle diagnosed by a ****** Authorized Repair shop, and then if the part that she needs is covered under her Extended Warranty - the warranty company will cover a loaner car for her.  We do not have loaner cars here, we do not provide loaner cars here.  As a good faith effort of resolution, and in attempt to go above and beyond- I even offered to reimburse her for the diagnostic that her Extended Warranty company requires she gets from an Authorized ****** Repair shop (which we are not).  When she purchased this vehicle in October of 2024, it has about 90,000 miles on it.  Therefore, under NYS Lemon Law protections- the vehicle would have been covered for 30 days/1,000 miles- whichever came first.  It has been more than 30 days since October of 2024, and as a result, I am not responsible for any repairs the vehicle may need.  But again, as a good faith offer of resolution, we have offered to reimburse her the diagnostic fee.  But she does have to follow her Extended Warranty's process.   Thank you.
