I received a check for $95.00 from Catholic Health on December 11, 2024. This check was made out to my deceased husband went to ********** was told I can't cash this check. I returned the check to Catholic Health an told them the check has to be made out under my name. I did mail them the check back and send them everything they asked me. I send them my husband's death certificate which they asked me to do. Yet each time I got the run around like they didn't get the death certificate can't read the death certificate. On 4/23/25, ****** from Catholic health left a message on my answering machine. I called her back but she was on the telephone and another person helped me. To my horror that person said the check was cashed. I asked them who cashed the check? Her answer was she didn't know. I asked her do you have a copy of the cashed check and can you look on the back to see the name of the person who cashed the check. Her answer was she can't see the back of the check. So now I am out of $95.00 and the thief cashed the check under my deceased husband's name. You would think that Catholic Health would investigate this issue. Can you help me with this issue. Thank you

I went to my local office in *******, **, for an immigration physical test for my stepchild. On the phone, I was told the visit would cost $150. During my visit, I paid the full amount of $150 at the desk. A few weeks later, I started getting emails and texts from Catholic Health's billing department claiming that I still owed $17 from the $167 amount. I contacted the doctor's office and the assured that it was a billing error and that they were contacting the company in order to correct it. Yet, for the past few months, I have continued receiving phone calls, texts, and emails from the company, with an increasingly threatening nature ("You are at risk for non-payment. One or more of your accounts are being reviewed for assignment to an outside collection agency.") I simply want this harassment to stop.

PS -- I contacted the local office multiple times. They promised they were trying to resolve it with their billing department, but no confirmation from them yet. Last invoice I received was two weeks ago.

Catholic Health constandly billes me for services as if I was an out of network patient. They are billing me for an office visit on 2/5/2024. Their bill is ******. My insurance explanation of benefits says my responsibility is *****. Catholic Health knows this, but will put you in collections over their error. If you call them, they easily see their error, but they have taken up the policy of not answeing the coustomer service line or returning calls. They just keep sending erroneous bills.

On 11/15/22 I was very sick and having chest pain and went to ********************** in *********. Upon arriving, no one was at the triage desk and about 10 minutes went by when a security guard came by and asked what was the problem. I told him I had covid and was having chest pain and difficulty breathing. He told me that there was only 1 nurse working in the ** and did not know when I would be seen. I was with my husband who was trying to find anyone but was unsuccessful. We waited for over a half hour before being seen, who the woman only took our insurance card info. I told them I was having chest pain and difficulty breathing and still no doctor or nurse came to examine me. They brought me over to a cot and told me to wait. After another 20 minutes without being seen, I told my husband we should go because I feared for my life. We left and went to another health care facility. I WAS NOT SEEN OR EXAMINED AT ALL BY ANY MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. This hospital is so unsafe and should have closed its ** if it had no staffing. I am only 51 years old and an RN. I was never so upset in all my life.St Catherines is now requesting a 70 copay FOR NO CARE!!!!!!I will not be paying this ridiculous fee and plan on contacting the State medical board and letting them know how unsafe this hospital is.
