I want to let you know about Chad W*** and the scammer/manipulator he is. I was referred to Dixon Home Improvements to assess and repair damages resulting from the tornado in July. Chad W*** showed up at my door step in early August. I will admit everything seemed fine in the beginning, but then things took a turn for the worse. After enduring a strenuous insurance claim process, one which Chad and the adjuster agreed on work to be completed and paid for, I was left in the dark after dishing over 40k to Chad. The only work that he performed that was decent was the painting of my upper half of the house. The chimney, trash, the back porch, trash, the house roof which he sub contracted was done at a price much lower than Chad got paid for. Oh and he still owes that contractor money. My garage was demolished but not rebuilt. He never filed the permits, the blame kept going back n forth between him and Dixon Home Improvements. ( This has been resolved, permits filed). Chad had every excuse in the book for his lack of getting the job done. I have all the receipts(text messages). Speaking of receipts, he has none and neither does Dixon Home Improvements. DHI claims they never received any payment from Chad. How's that work? When I tell you that something seems fishy, something really stinks. How can a company have payroll, transport their workers to my residence, but not get paid. Have NO RECEIPTS OF WORK COMPLETED(loosely using that word) ?? It's a mystery. So Chad goes dark, there's no communication from him, ignores my calls, read my messages but doesn't respond. So yes I was robbed and scammed by Chad W*** and I have all the proof. So if you're still reading this, thank you, and if you've been ripped off by this smooth talking con artist, PLEASE COME FORWARD. SEND ME A MESSAGE. I know that there are at least 3 other victims of Chad W***s deception out there. For the 4.5 months of mental anguish

The business states that the have gotten another business to go to the consumer and perform services that (Chad W***) should have done.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  In response to what the company said,  the construction company is taking a loss from dixon home improvement.  Attached are invoices for work that needs to be completed.  Dixon Home Improvements knew more than what they're saying. Suzanne, the owners wife,  personally picked up amd dropped off workers at my house numerous times. This is on them just as much as it's on Chad W***.  Chad should not be able to practice construction as he still uses the name W*** Construction to take advantage of people.  There has been at least 3 other victims due to Chad W*** and Dixon Home Improvements taking money and not completing work. When confronted,  they disconnect calls and stop all communication.  I gave Dixon Home Improvements about 40k to complete repairs caused by tornado in June. From committing business fraud, consumer fraud, tax fraud, and insurance fraud, these factors should allow nys to have them purge all assets and repay victims lost monies paid for work that was contracted. Regards, **** ****
