I wanted to share my experience with Outer County Construction (OCC). The story is a simple one, the siding was replaced on my townhouse less than a year ago. I had a pergola in front of my house during the time of the installation. Recently that pergola was removed and to my surprise a 4x2cm cutout was noted on one of the sidings where the pergola post used to be. It appears while installing the siding, the installers could not get around the post so they made a cutout on the siding and then installed it. I contacted Outer County Construction and they asked me to send pictures via email. The next day I called OCC to get an email to send pictures and spoke to ********* who asked me to email her with the pictures. I emailed the pictures and within minutes got an invoice for $597. I was shocked at this invoice and called to clarify. I spoke to ********* again, questioning the almost $600 invoice to replace a 4x2 cm defect in the siding. She said they have to remove the leader pipe to replace the piece of siding (the leader pipe is not touching the siding that was damaged). This is the part that's frustration because instead of ********* acknowledging the issue she went off on a blame game stating the person who removed the Pergola made a cutout in the siding, I explained to her that it was a family member who removed the siding and he did not make any cutouts, she then said that I should take it up with my HOA. Some of my neighbors had similar issues, one neighbor cable wire was cut, another did not have the electric wire harness reconnected back to the house etc.Now I'll have to defer to Lowes and HomeDepot to find something similar and color match.I feel that this whole situation could have been handled differently instead of trying to blame others for your company's clear deficiency, especially since ********* is the VP/Coowner. I would like to make all customers aware of the type of company **********************.

I apologize for your inconvenience. The siding we did for the community was closed out a long time ago. After we finished the pergola was removed. We sent you an estimate to correct the issue, not an invoice. You have the right to choose for us to do the work or not. If you were going to attempt to fix it, here is the siding color to match (CertainTeed Main Street Clapboard siding (Herringbone)). If you want us to fix the siding, just respond to the estimate we emailed over.
