    On 8/7/24 we contacted this company for a service repair for the address of ********** ******. I spoke with a very pleasant lady on the phone gave her all the information and she quoted me a price of $85.00 for the service call. I gave her my credit card information and she dispatched a service tech. Upon the techs arrival I was contacted by the office and was told that now the cost would be $450.00 for the service call, and to diagnose the problem. After about 20 minutes I was called back and told that the board was broken and needed to be replaced and it would cost an additional $2,850.00. I then asked the lady on the phone to have the tech leave the house because I was not happy with the way this was being handled. She told me she was still going to charge me the $450.00 for the diagnostic fee. Then the tech on the jobsite called me and wanted to negotiate the price, i asked him to leave because i did not trust he was being honest. The next morning I had the job repaired by another plumber and have for a total cost of $656.00. The issue was a faulty low water cut off switch. Not the Board (which I assume meant the Argo relay). I kindly asked them to refund my credit card for the cost of the diagnostic fee. I am awaiting there response. I feel this was very poor and deceptive business practice.
