    On 5/7/2023, I placed an order with Blanding Detail LLC via ******* in the amount of $257.04 (Order # **********)

    On 5/8/2023, my ******* Voucher was marked as redeemed - though I did not receive any service.

    Per instructions on their ******* ad, I attempted to communicate/schedule the appointment as follows, with no response:

    * 6/5/2023 - Website contact portal (provided ******* info, including Voucher #)
    * 7/5/23 and 7/13/23 - Calls to # ending in ****, leaving voicemails both dates
    * 7/11/23 - Call and text to # ending in **** 
    I contacted ******* this week, and they state they are unable to refund unless the merchant provides in writing that I did not receive the service. Unfortunately, the vendor is not responding to me at all. If I'm unable to resolve the issue through BBB, AG's office, or *******, I plan to file a small claims court suit.

    Presently, two other customers have left reviews on ******* reporting the same issue (that they've paid/been marked as redeemed but did not receive services, ******* refuses to assist).


    Please see attached screenshots of:

    * My web history showing date I purchased, and date I first visited their website to book through web portal

    Further exacerbating this issue on *******'s end - a large portion of this purchase was made using "******* *****" because I purchased another similar service years ago, and when I contacted THAT merchant, was told that the merchant hadn't authorized the deal on *******, and they refunded my money. ******* at that time only provided me a refund via "******* *****" because the date had expired, and not an actual point-of-payment refund. Now that money has been completely lost to this scam with "Blanding Detail LLC".

    I am requesting full refund for amount of actual *******, $257.04.

    As stated, this is a third party voucher. Your refund and issue is with *******. Blanding Detailing was not paid for this service. As for any payments received this again is a ******* matter. Please do what you feel is necessary and have a blessed day.

    As of 10:03 this morning, ******* has promised issuance of a full refund, and this matter can be closed on behalf of the Better Business Bureau - but I would like to note to the Better Business Bureau for the record that this merchant refused to cooperate throughout this process by acknowledging in writing that the service had not been fulfilled, although he did acknowledge such on a phone conversation with me prior to the email communications involving *******. Per *******'s Terms of Service, this merchant was able to mark the voucher as redeemed on the merchant center, and seemed to have no intention to deliver on that service as they never responded to my communications about setting up an appointment prior to opening the complaint with BBB. After two months of no response, I heard from the merchant for the first time the morning the BBB complaint was sent to them. The merchant's overall behavior spoke volumes about the intent behind this being marked "redeemed", in conjunction with two other public complaints of customers who experienced the same. I am thankful the issue was resolved, but from the experience I had, believe this company to be running a fraudulent ad that they have no intention of delivering upon, which is theft. Attached is an email thread of the communications we had in which the company owner refused to acknowledge what he had acknowledged in a phone conversation, and thankfully ******* acknowledged the issue as a result of this frustrating communication, and did promise full refund as of this morning. On *******'s part, I've used their service many times, and this is the second time I've encountered an issue, though the first where the merchant had malicious intentions. I am disappointed that the process with ******* to protect against merchants never intending to deliver, is woefully lacking and a frustrating experience. I do plan to follow up with a formal complaint about their services. Consumers should be protected by this service. Thank you for your assistance in getting this matter resolved.
