    On June 17, 2021 we hired Booth Concrete to install a front patio. We were told by the owner, TJ Booth that imperfections would fade/ not be noticeable as the concrete cures. We paid Mr. Booth $5,500.00 for the work. On March 30, 2022 we reached out to Mr. Booth to inform him of issues with the concrete. He assured us that he would resolve our concerns. Due to Mr. Booth's lack of response, we contacted him numerous times; April 2022, May 2022, July 2022 and September 2022. After the 2022-2023 winter, we continued to contact Mr. Booth; April 2023, May 2023, June 2023, July 2023 and August 2023. We have reached out by ** messenger, text message and phone calls. We've had numerous conversations with Mr. Booth and he continues to delay resolving our issues. At this point, we would like a refund due to the issues with the work, lack of response and ability to resolve the issue on Mr. Booth's part and our continued patience. We have provided Mr. Booth more than adequate time to make repairs which have not been done to date.

    BBB spoke to TJ and the following was relayed:  I've been in contact with this customer and I told him that I would be out to him as soon as possible.  It is the end of the season right now and busy.  This job was completed back in 2021.  There is no warranty.  But I told him that I would take care of his small issue as soon as I can.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. 


    As stated previously and confirmed in Mr. Booth’s response, he assured us that repairs would be made. We have allowed more than adequate time for the damages to be amended (2+ years). We’ve also reached out to Mr. Booth numerous times for updates. Mr. Booth simply gives us an excuse, ignores our calls, blocks ******** messages and changes his business page and the ability to post on his page. Mr. Booth has been given multiple opportunities to fix the concrete and has continuously failed to schedule a date/ time to make the repairs. Due to Mr. Booth’s poor business practices and incompetence, we’ve had no other choice but to involve the BBB to help resolve the issue. At this point, we are not comfortable with Mr. Booth on/ at our property. Mr. Booth has missed the opportunity to resolve the matter by making the repairs. We’re certain Mr. Booth does not have the ability or expertise to make the necessary repairs and we’re not willing to risk further issues with Mr. Booth or his work. We have made it clear that we are seeking monetary resolution.
