    My wife ***** **** had the septic tank pumped today 8/1/23. Company failed to inform us they charged and 4 percent on the card prior to us booking with them Told us at time of pumping that if we had cash it be cheaper. We paid my wife had called to complain and that we were not informed about this prior to pumping. Spoke with someone in the phone who told us we had to send a check or come down and pay cash. I would not send a blank check to them. We live a bit away from where they do operations they can’t just refund it or give us a credit. To be honest after that interaction with whoever we spoke too would not recommend them to my friends and family and would not use them again.

    Hi Kevin,  I am writing in response to a complaint with an ID of ********. Our customer, ***** **** received service on 8/1/2023.  We cleaned their septic tank and dug/recovered the cleanout cover.  When it came time for payment ***** **** was told she could write a check. She mentioned she did not have any checks. She was told she could use a credit card and that we add 4% for a credit card payment.  She wanted to pay with a credit card because she does not have checks.  Later that day she called the office and complained about having to pay the 4%. We proceeded to tell her we could credit her account and she could send in a check or bring cash to the office. She told us she does not have checks and our office is too far away for her to come and pay her bill.   I don't know what changed from the morning when she paid the bill to roughly 4pm when she called the office to complain.  Please let me know if you need additional information.  Leslie     Leslie & Julie T****  Vern Vallance Septic Service, Inc.
