On 8/24/22 I took my dog to Pet Expressions for a groom (wash, haircut, trim nails, brush teeth). I picked him up and later that day his eyes were watery. This progressed and within a couple of days, there was discharge from the eyes, they were bright red, and my dog refused to open his eyes. He was in visible pain. I took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with corneal abrasions in both eyes. The vet said verbally and in the report that it was secondary to recent grooming. $100 for the groom, $235 for the vet bill including visit, antibiotics, eye drops and pain meds. The groomer refuses to accept responsibility or to pay for my vet bill. Reviews online say that she has hurt other dogs and refused to work with the client to solve this. She has a history of animal cruelty and needs to pay my bill, and she needs to be closed down.
