    8/13/2024 I mailed a package from the UPS Store on *************** in *********, **. The package was lost in **. *** web site said to file a claim. I went to the UPS Store and they said I had to file online. I went online and it said I could not file a claim now, with no other explanation. I called and after 30 minutes working through automated messages, was unable to file a claim. I want my package found or to be reimbursed $194.79 for the value of the package, plus what I paid to have it shipped.

    Hello,

    The customer dropped off the package with a prepaid label on August 13th and the package was scanned and a drop off receipt was given to him .Please note the shipping label was not created at the store. The package was picked up by the driver and it left the store and ********. However, once the package leaves the store it is in the hands of the carrier and not in my control. After tracking the package on ******* the package left NY and reached ** . The tracking # is ******************* 

    When we track the package online it shows that the claim was processed on September 5th and *** corporate has issued the check to the customer. The check # ******* was confirmed after speaking to the representative at corporate. The contact # for corporate is ************** . You can reach out to them if needed to confirm the claim check.

    the claim check was paid on September 15th.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

     

    UPS paid the seller for the value of the item, and the seller repaid me. I am satisfied with the resolution.  Thank you for your help.
