    I purchased a plot to sell my items on. I was told that it would be safe to leave my things there until my next time slot. I had asked to work Friday October 27th and was told I could by TWO employees one being the "coordinator." Within 20 minutes I received a call from a guy who liked to talk so I let him speak the entire time. I was told that someone tried to call me in regards to my belongings being destroyed by a "flood." There were other vendors outside who tents were still in tact. When I arrived to collect my things they were already moved for me and the only thing there in my spot was the table and table cloth. I was told that my tent and chair and sign was up front and the only thing there was my sign, the tent wasn't even mine. I provided photos through text of my set up at Spooky Island and was told that I would be payed for my "lost" property. I never saw my tent to see if it was damaged and a chair would not be. He said that he would pay for my losses the next morning, when the next morning came he said he had an emergency and would paid the next day. I reached out the following day and got no response until today 10/30/23 after I said i'd file with the BBB.

    Good Morning,

    I purchased a ticked for the evening of October 7, 2023 to attend the "Spooky Island" event held at the ************ Fairgrounds. However, that day, there was continuous heavy rains so I emailed the business that day to confirm if the event will still be held. The organizer responded and confirmed it was cancelled and if I wanted a full refund, to simply just send an email requesting one which I did immediately, but I have not heard back. I also received a cancellation email that same day from their main business email which also stated I could request a refund. I have sent several follow-up emails to the organizer, left messages on the business's ******** via messanger, and called, but have been ignored. Additionally, I sent several refund requests through ********** (payment portal used), which have all been denied. Others in my party are experiencing the same issue. I am just requesting a full refund to my original tender.

    Please note, this complaint is solely for Spooky Island (not ************ Fairgrounds) in which they have ****** Entertainment LLC listed on their event page.
