This vender picked up my Phase Linear 400 amp for repair on Dec. 29 and collected a $125 deposit. He has not completed repair and does not answer my request for an update. My request for return of my property has been ignored. This company seems to be some kind of a scam.

    Business Response

Called business and spoke with owner and this was relayed:

We charge a deposit fee for pick up and diagnosis of the tv.  Once I received the tv, we took it apart to find out what is wrong with it.  At that point we had to contact the manufacturer for parts for the repair.  The manufacturer stated that they do not sale parts for repair.  I called the consumer and advised him that there are no parts and I was willing to bring the tv back to him, however, he wanted the return of the deposit.  We do not do work for nothing.  I offered to bring the tv to him, now he needs to pick the tv up within 1 week, due to the fact that we do not have room to store it.

Jim Heurter sold me a ******* sub woofer for my home stereo system along with a remote control, ****** receiver and the Subwoofer lasted about 2 weeks and a couple days (wrote him a check for $950.00) which he promptly cashed on 5-2-22. I called him and he asked if the input line was working - I told him I switched to my old subwoofer and that works fine- after a couple months of trying, - he then told me his transmission on his truck broke and didn't know when he could make it up there. Since then, he blocked my phone # (says mailbox is full at this time, goodbye) I called him at all different days and hrs to no avail - even sent numerous emails with no returned calls - after a couple months i decided to call using my cell phone - the call went thru in 2 rings and I told him I need him to pick up this sub and give me a refund - he said his mother died in FL and his mother in law died also and he was running down to FL to pick up the bodies etc - I said sorry to hear that - come up when u can - still never showed up so tried to call him again but now my cell phone was blocked also. I have since bought another brand of subwoofer to replace his piece of junk - all I get from him now is finely tuned excuses. I am 80 yrs old and can't afford a lawyer or a court date. Can u see if i can get my money back?? It's been almost 5 months since it doesn't work and i think he does not have any intention of giving me a refund - Any other speaker co. will give u your money back for any reason at all - no questions asked - this Jim is a crook! A smart one at that! College graduate form a highly accredited college - Please see if u can get him to pick up this sub and give me a refund - thank you, ****** *. ******* - Looking forward to hear what he will tell you guys!
