    I was supposed to receive a refund of $25.00, from a copay that was taken. I am on ******** and do not require a copayment. This happened August 10, 2022 I've called every week until September 28, 2022. When i had a follow up appointment with Dr. *********************** I asked what was going on since I kept getting the runaround from her office staff. She claimed she had no idea what was going on, I told her I will have to report her to my insurance and she stated "We are not doing anything illegal here, no need to do that." She said in two weeks her advisor will call me, never did. I did end up reporting her to my insurance. Also she apparently closed her practice that week of September 28, 2022, without letting me know. Totally unprofessional Dr. I have ever met in my life. How are you in practice for so many years and got away with such fraud is beyond me. I am sure I am not the only victim.

    In response to the above mentioned complaint, I have been in practice in the *****************, Town of ****** for 46 years and the day that I retired I received my first complaint for the sum of $25.00.

    Thank God, it was not for patient care.

    *************************, a new patient was seen in my office and in error my staff asked for a co-pay of $25.00.

    ******* made me aware of it upon her return visit at which time I told her that I would speak to my medical ****** and and if it was indeed an error that I would refund it to her.

    A refund was issued to her on 10/12/22 check number ****.

    As for my retirement, my patients were notified of my retirement  forty (40) days prior to closing the office for patient care on 9/30/22.

    I was in office another month winding down the business through 10/31/22, during which time I was available to help with any other issues.

    This incident  truly was an innocent glitch.
