  My dump truck was towed from a ********** parking lot after getting approval from management to park for a day or two. When I went to the towing company to retrieve my truck and I disputed the rate they had charged me which does not compare to the rate that other towing companies in the area charge and I have proof they, said they could charge me whatever they wanted to, that they could even charge me $3,000 to $4000 a minute if they wanted to. They proceeded to state that they dont use or go by rates and that they are not regulated by anyone so they can charge and do whatever they want. Based another companies rates in the area, they overcharged me $1,100. Attached is the Receipt and Video that I recorded when I confronted them. Lastly, I asked if I could pay with a check or credit card and they said no cash only. Im wondering if thats because they dont report it?The going rate for less than 15 miles is $750 plus tax. My towing distance was less than 5 and I was charged $1,725 for the tow only. Other charges as well as are stated on the bill. All Im looking for is for them to do the right thing and reimburse me the $1100 difference that they overcharged me. I am OK with the other charges, including storage, etc..They would not even consider waiving the sales tax, even though I paid them cash.This business should definitely be investigated as I believe they are robbing from people in the community and also from the *** as they only take cash and most likely dont report all their earnings.
