    Beyea Seal Works was contracted to install Expoy floors and window/baseboard trim for interior home project. A deport of $5,750 was paid with an additional $1,500 paid to support the need for additional epoxy for the unexpected shortage. Work began on April 3, 2023.

    Justin Beyea & father Joseph (helper) conducted themselves in such a way that the project was halted. The reason is for unacceptable design & use of unauthorized substandard materials with faulty installation causing damage to my home. The project is unsalvageable, requiring the entire 1st floor to need demolition with new installation.

    Details supporting claim:

    Incorrectly mixed epoxy - debris, floor buckling, gauges, improperly sealed.

    Basement: damage to walls, floors, ceiling, & mechanical equipment where epoxy seeped through the existing flooring of the residence.

    1st floor interior ceilings, walls, and doors require paint touch-ups to include full area painting in order to match existing.

    Unauthorized black oil paint & white latex paint applied over multiple flooring areas to conceal flawed craftmanship.

    Front porch epoxy stains caused by carelessness.

    Other serious installation flaws with additional home damages ($15,000)

    Beyea Seal Works (Justin) refuses to communicate with me, or **** (Home Services website) to rectify this situation.

    The materials that were there were for painting trim not the floor.  According to owner it was being used on the “floor”, correct epoxy was used for the floor according to the white/ black marbling the customer wanted (“ mostly white with black marbling lines throughout” Customer also didn’t disclose that they had major water damage to floor and caused the epoxy not to set up properly in spots. Water damage throughout kitchen and into office that  caused damage to cabinets and office desk.  Used the down payment for epoxy, paint, baseboard, door/window trim, heater covers and misc. supplies(nails, caulk, screws, etc.) floor wasn’t removed in kitchen that was supposed to be taken up by owner and son. Owner Was still moving and cleaning day of arrival which caused project to start off on a delay with having to take up floor and let water dry that  She told me to pick a style that was 8” to match the heater covers and had to use same width trim around window and doors to match other doors in house. Owner told me to stop work so multiple things could not be completed.
