I contacted a previous phone number to an HVAC company I did business with a few years ago ************* an answering machine came on and redirected me to another business since they were no longer active. They referred me to Air Cooling **, they came by within a half hour and check the unit. They removed the motor and told me they had to get a new part before testing the unit, they charged me $85.00 for the visit. The next day I discovered I still had ********************* I called back Air Cooling ** to ask for my part to be returned because I had insurance and they could not use their company to handle the situation. They then said they had to charge me $225 dollars to bring back the motor. I asked them why because I paid them the initial $85.00. They said for time and materials. They did not do anything but remove the motor. They insisted on collecting or they would not bring back the motor. They only wanted cash and when I asked for a receipt that charged me $240.00 and on the receipt they did not add in the initial $85.00. This was very in-just. The new company told me they could have taken a picture of the motor instead of taking it with them. This was very unprofessional and deceitful.
