I wouldn't recommend this seller to my worst enemy. I ordered 3 desktops and within 24 hours they substituted my order with an extremely older, slower, and lower spec product than what I had originally ordered. The seller called me once I reported the issue and borderline threatened me to accept another downgrade in hardware. He assumed that he knew more than me and attempted to take advantage. I offered a simple solution which involved a 3% discount on a $3,000 order and the company has since blocked my phone number, email, and social media. The BBB and FTC have been alerted. When I called the *** I was informed that there have been numerous complaints about this seller within the last month. *******!!!!STEER CLEAR AT ALL COSTS*******!!!!

Thought I was buying a new **** computer from "the **** Store" on ******. Turned out the seller was iCompNY in Staten Island doing business on ****** as *************. So not straightforward from the beginning. When the computer would not boot, **** US customer support informed me that my service tag was not registered under the US (where I live). It was registered under Lebanon and serviced through Jordan! Apparently it was originally purchased for educational purposes almost 4 months before I bought it. Gaining online support required some school or school system account name, which of course I did not have. **** US had me try a command.com fix, but it didn't work. **** US then gave guidance on something called **** Ownership Transfer that could help me establish my ownership of the computer. Establish my ownership? I paid for it. I have it. Records, however, say it's located in Jordan. At this point, I don't even know if the motherboard, CPU, RAM and SSD that I have are the original **** components. ****** was sympathetic. The product page looks like a "**** Store" product page. Even the AI assistant says the information indicates the computer is new and sold directly from ****, neither of which is true. So I'm returning this...thing and hoping I haven't contributed to someone's Middle East war effort. That would sicken me. Better if it's just some third-party Staten Island reseller finding a way to scavenge a buck off ****'s good name. The ************* guy says it's all on the up-and-up. On the phone, he sounded a little like Aykroyd's ***** *******: "You see, the way it works is like this..." And he's probably right. But why not disclose everything up front? No, I'd rather buy directly from **** for a few hundred more. I want to do business with someone who is straight with me. Before the fact. That's where trust is built.

************* Bought ****** (or so I thought) tower for $1,197. Within 2 months, completely crapped out. Wouldn't turn on. Had ****** specialist come in and could not fix it. ****** was going to replace the computer but when I provided them with the sales receipt from the amazon seller, was told the sales receipt did not match the computer. So yes, they do change out hard drives and you are not getting what you paid for. Amazon seller wants me to return for a refund but I cannot turn it on to wipe the hard drive and am not comfortable sending it with my personal information as I do not trust this seller.
