On 4/13/25 we stopped by Eddies ice cream truck which was parked on ******************************************************. We picked up three soft serve ice cream cones only to later find out the transaction charge was made for $76.83 This "business" is operated by ********Initial Complaint

On August 21 at ****************** we bought 4 ice creams the vendor told us that each one cost $5 dollars and that it was $20.00 plus the fee for using a credit card because they don't accept cash the total came out to $21.48 in the end they charged my card $41.28 It's a complete rip off !!!! I hope you can help me resolve this theft and I will also file a complaint to the credit cardInitial Complaint

Today, Sunday, Sept 8th, I stopped by the ice cream truck in ***** on the Corner of *********************************, right next to ***** *****. I ask for a regular cone and the guys claims he is out, gives me waffle cones instead. Charged $27.72 for two waffle cones. I was sitting with my daughter on the corner, and noticed another customer received a regular ice ******************** cone, like the one I had requested. When I confronted the guy in the ice cream truck, he claims that that owner told him to lie to customers about the availability of regular ice cream cones. I told him that this is a fraudulent business practice. His response was to file a claim with my credit card company to get a refund, but that he couldn't do anything because he just works there for $18/hour. I request a full refund for this fraudulent transaction.Please see link w complaints from other customers:************************************************************************************************* "Jun 2, 2024, 3:04 PM I've just been over to ******** and whilst I was there I purchased 3 ice creams from a vendor in an ice cream van outside shakeshack in *****. I asked the price as they weren't visible. I was told 5 dollars each card payment only. I was then passed the ice creams and he took my phone from me and scanned it on his reader in the ice cream van. I thought nothing of it but checked my online banking and was charged $ 48 dollars. I immediately returned to demand a refund and he smirked and no refund call the cops. I told him he's ripped me off and again told him I wanted a refund. He said go away you ***** and then came running out of his van and got right in my face insulting me saying hit me now *****. I've tried to stop the transaction but not possible. I know I shouldnt of passed him my phone. I have Googled ******* ice cream corp that shows on my bank to complain but can't find anything. I purchased an ice cream cone with peanuts and another cup with vanilla and chocolate ice cream using, if I recall, a Square cash reader from the vendor at an ice cream truck parked near the ****************************, across the street from ************ Cream Factory. It's a touristy area and I concur with other complaints that this business is predatory. The vendor did not accept cash. I don't recall what the posted pricing was exactly but it was certainly not over $10 per cone.Initial Complaint

I bought two ice creams from the ice cream truck parked across in ***** in ********, ** in front of Shake Shack and near the ******************** on July 5th, 2024. One ice cream was a cup and one was a cone. I didn't have cash on me so I paid with card and checked my account later and found out that I was charged $38 for 2 ice creams which is absolutely ridiculous! Even if there was a credit card fee, I shouldn't have paid more than $15 for 2 ice creams. I wasn't even given any receipt by the guy who was handling the ice cream truck which I usually keep and store for purposes like this.Customer Answer

Date: 07.01.2024 Time: 3:59 pm I asked for the price of the ice-cream and got the answer the small cones cost 5 usd and the big ones cost 10 usd. So we ordered 2 small ones and 2 big ones and paid with a card using the terminal where the amount is not visible. When I asked for the receipt they asked me to give my phone number which I did but never received anything. Later I saw in my internet bank that I was charged ***** usd. When I went back to ask about it they told me that the price is 7 for the small ones and 12 for the big ones which still doesnt add up to be ***** usd. I feel like they are cheating on tourists and scamming them and it is not right and ruins the day.Customer Answer
