    * ***** * ************* **** ****** ******** ********* *********** * *** ********* ******* **************** ******** * *** **** ***** *********** ******** ****** ***********  *********** ***** *** ****** ***** **** *** ***********.Due to the experience I acquired as a commercial driver, I was shocked by the level of training provided at CDL Auto Club. The instructors showed complete indifference, failing to provide any specific driving methodologies or maneuvering techniques. The use of markers during training turned out to be futile, as the examination truck did not have corresponding marks, making my preparation invalid. This compels me to warn potential clients about this driving school and their likely methods, which may reduce the chances of passing the exam successfully. I expect CDL Auto Club to promptly address this issue, otherwise, I will have to resort to legal measures to protect my consumer rights.

Dear *** ******************* ***************** ***********I am sorry you were not satisfied with the service we have provided to you.  as a company with over 30 years of experience and thousands of satisfied and repeat customers, we aim to have provided the highest possible level of services to every student.   Even though we deal with clients who have different level of driving skills, our goal is to bring every student to the level of passing successfully a CDL Road Test.   We strongly recommend 20 hours of hands-on training.   You originally only took 5 hours of training and insisted you were ready to take your road test, which you failed(January 18, 2024) .  You than scheduled an additional road test without taking any additional hours of training, resulting in a failing grade(January 29, 2024).  Once again you scheduled on your own another road test appointment and only received 4 hours of additional training hours, resulting in a failing grade (2/9/24).  Once again you scheduled two hours of training and another road test, passing only the Pretrip Inspection part of the road test(2/21/24).    You were informed by your instructor that you needed additional training and that the training needed to be consistent.  You once again scheduled another road test, resulting in a failing grade (2/26/24).  You then scheduled only a two hour training session and yet another road test, resulting in a failing grade (3/11/24).   You failed to listen to the recommendation our instructors mentioned and did not apply the techniques you were taught (again, this could happen when training is not consistent and fail to listen to the recommended hours of training suggested to you).    I wish you would have contacted the office expressing your concerns, rather than bashing us on social medial and going to the Better Business Bureau.   I am going to offer a two hour courtesy ****** and vehicle for the road test, because I want your opinion of this school to change.   Please contact the manager, ***** should you like to take advantage of this generous offer.

I have signed CDL auto club for learning Truck driving , when we signed they told us that if you can drive car 10 hours is enough, even some driver pass exam after 6 hours. JAnuary 31 on 2022 I paid ths company 1523$. ( included road test fee 350$} They give us Truck, and show us go straight and reverse, every class was 2 hours, instructor gave me order then disappear, after ***** min he came, ohh , you did wrong, you should do like that. He never seat next to me for whole class and teach me what was their obligation, after 10 hours , even he instructor didn know that tomorrow is my road test, i asked him, do you think I learned everything? he said no, you need more hours April 18 I paid extra 420$ for extra hours, This time instructor was different but same quality. I have seen that I didn't learn anything from this school, I postponed my road test exam that they charged me 350 for that, when I called the lady where I paid , she forwarded me ST island brunch, I emailed them and asked them send my road test fee back, they wasted my time and charged me a 1943$, help me to get my money back, P,S I am 7 years uber driver in the city, I am not new driver ,beside that If they think i am wrong , in the same situation i have other friends too. we all signed same time and nobody passed exam , even some of them didnt continue school

    Dear *** *********,

My name is *****************  I am the owner of CDL Auto Club, Inc.
I have read the complaint *** ******* sent to you, ID ********

I am briefly going to tell you about my school and the process of obtaining a Commercial Driver's License.  I personally wrote a training manual for the office staff.   My staff does not state to anyone that students pass after 6 hours of training.   We recommend 10 hours of training.  We also inform the student that they may need additional training, since every student learns at their own pace. When a student enrolls they are in the office approximately 45 minutes and training is explained in detail to them.  ******************* Representative also tells the student for any reason they are unhappy we will switch instructors.   They are also informed about our 24 hour cancellation policy and refund policy.  We can never guarantee that a student will pass a road test - no school can.
There are 3 parts to a Commercial Road Test.  Each student must pass part I to move forward
    1) Pre Trip Inspection:
Students are required to go under the hood and name the engine components, walk around, in-cab inspection and air brake testing.  This part takes 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete.  Our instructor is next to the students explaining this in detail and going over the PreTrip Inspection Booklet that is given to each student at the time of enrollment.
    2) Maneuvers: Each student must pass part II to move forward
Students will be tested on 3 skills.  Our training yard mimics the road testing site.   Cones are set up and students are asked to perform the 3 maneuvers listed below.  ***************; is correct when he states no one sat next to him.   My instructor was standing outside the vehicle giving him signals on how to turn the wheel and how to look in the mirror, to see which way the tractor is turning.    There would be no way any instructor could teach this if he sat inside.offset parking
    parallel parking
    straight line backing
    3) Drive:
During the drive you will be stating out loud your actions:
i.e - shouting out street signs, railroad crossing, approaching overpass, etc.

Mr. Ekberli states he is a seven year veteran driving for Uber.  There is a huge difference between a Class A Tractor Trailer license and a Class E chauffeur license.  Class A is a vehicle over ****** lbs and has air brakes.    Class E utilizes an automobile.

I will be more than happy to return the unused amount of training less than the 10% cancellation fee, which is stated on our receipt and approved by the New ********************* of ***** Vehicles.   Our records indicate *** ******* is due $315 ($350 less 10%).

I am sorry to hear that *** ******* would not like to continue with us.   I wish him the best.

    Sincerely,

    ***********************

A request for a refund was sent to our email on 8/3/2022.    Student was informed that the bookkeeper who works off site will issue a refund check within a 3 week period.   A refund for unused lessons less 10% was issued last week, 8/25/2022.    The 10% refund is stated on our receipts which has been approved from the ************** ********** of ***** Vehicles.   I am not sure why this student went to the BBB.  Student called and cancelled lessons stating he had COVID.

The amount of refund issued $1,089.
