    Prestige Plumbing was hired by my general contractor, ************** to complete plumbing and sprinkler roughing work at my home (***************************************************************). They were paid $52287.50 through Empire for this work. They completed the roughing work and self-certified inspections through the *** ***. As we have worked to complete the plumbing and sprinkler finishes, we have found numerous and significant issues in the roughing work and Prestige Plumbing has not been willing to return to rectify their errors. There were issues with the roughing in every single bathroom and major issues with the sprinklers. We needed to purchase additional materials and pay additional cost for plumbing work to rectify these problems.The most complex issue involved the sprinklers. We have approved sprinkler design plans in the *** system showing 61 sprinkler heads. The roughing was only completed for 58 sprinkler heads. The work was signed off on (by Prestige), so the walls were then put up. We now have 3 required sprinklers and no plumbing to feed those. We have spoken to the sprinkler designer and all 3 of those are required -- there is no workaround. Piping for these sprinkler heads will need to be added at additional expense.Overall, our estimate for the incremental cost that we paid for the items above, as well as for the work to install the 3 incremental sprinkler heads that Prestige Plumbing neglected to install (as per approved plans) is approximately:- $15,000 for general contractor work to open walls and tiles, repair walls and tiles, etc.- $1,500 for incremental work to hire a plumber to fix the plumbing roughing - $500 for additional plumbing materials (deep-in roughs, additional diverters, piping, etc.)- An estimated $5000 to install the 3 sprinkler heads that Prestige Plumbing neglected to install as per approved plans)
