At first **** admits patients and makes them sign an agreement to cover what ******** does not pay and ******** covers up to 20 days and then charges 200 in Copay daily up to 100 days. My mother was admitted for temp rehab to be under 20 days. She signed the agreement and after physical therapy, she was ready to be discharged and we set the discharge date and it was under 20 days. After all plans were set and equipment ordered and she was ready to come home on the planned date, ***** administrative office calls us and says that ******** denied the request to pay for the scheduled 18 days and would only pay for 16. So i called the ******** advantage plan and they said that they never denied any request or claim and the submitted date for discharge from Egers was for 16 days and the admittance date was a day earlier then when she was admitted as well. We found that the dates to discharge are decided by Egers and they said that ******** decides it. So ******** told us to have Egers resubmit the correct information and they said that they dont submit the information. Later i find that they pay a third party called NavHealth to submit it for them. This must be where the false information is entered. The Woman *********************** refused to have the corrections resubmitted and would not admit that they are the ones to send this information in. This is a way for Egers and this third party service to get away with charging patients for extra days and collect extra ******** days as well or clear out rooms for new admittance with repudiation. I want the correct information resubmitted to the united healthcare. The correct admission date and discharge date. I spoke with the ** and agreed on a discharge date and putting in an early date to either get my mother out early or charge her for 2 days copay is not acceptable. ******** does not select a discharge date, it is submitted by Egers administrative office as far as what the ******** insurance provider line ************.
