My new construction home was purchased from the Ronstein ***************** in November 2024 for $460,000. Since my home is under warranty, I was informed I should contact the seller's realtor if I had issues. Since moving into the home, I have had several issues. I contacted the seller's realtor about my driveway. In December 2024, I noticed my driveway was beginning to crumble. Several areas were rising and beginning to crumble away. Due to the weather, I was informed it would need to wait until the Spring. This repair is pending, In February- 2025, I then noticed a separation between the baseboard and the floor in several areas. The contract says they are not responsible for small gaps; however, these are large gaps. In addition, the planks in my hardwood floors began to separate. In March, one of the lower cabinets and counter separated from the wall. I had a basement specialist review the wall issue and they noticed the support for the home was uneven. The support beams were only flushed on two of the four beams, which caused the wall to be uneven and created large gaps at the baseboard. I informed the realtor of the issues, except the support beams, as I figured I would show the contractor when they arrived. The realtor informed me it was outside the scope of his area, and he was told by the builder to provide me with the general contractor's phone number, I called the general contractor, sent him pictures, and scheduled a repair for March 29. He failed to show and stated the builder said he was not a floor guy, but he could fix the counter. I informed the realtor of the response from the general contractor and asked for contact information for the builder. It is frustrating. I am only asking for things to be corrected that are broken or were installed improperly. I had other items fixed, such as a leaking pipe in the basement and low water pressure, with minimal issues. However, now I am receiving the runaround and no response.
