Similar to the experience of a previous reviewer: Technician Jason was not able to duplicate an intermittent problem during his brief visit, so said nothing was wrong with the appliance, only the way I have it set up. I am disabled and unable to carry loads of laundry up and down the stairs, so I have the washing machine set up in the kitchen instead of in the basement. The kitchen does not have laundry hookups so I have to make do with what's there.
The fact that the washing machine had been set up the same way since I bought it and had worked fine for more than a year, and my previous washing machine was set up exactly the same way and worked fine for 10 or 15 years, was irrelevant to him. He declared that the setup was the problem, offered no suggestions for what might be a better setup while still allowing me access to independent use of my own washing machine, and left.
After he left I tried washing two loads of laundry. The first one completed without a problem. The second one had the same intermittent problem that I need service for.
I called Countywide and received a return call the next day from a rude customer service manager who said there was no way the machine could possibly work the way I have it set up (notwithstanding that it did work perfectly well until after the warranty ran out, and even now it does work sometimes, and sometimes does not).
Neither the technician who came to my home nor the person who called on the phone in response to my concern made any attempt whatsoever to help me find a way to set it up in a manner that would meet with their approval. They just blamed me for needing an accessible setup so I can use my own washing machine in my own home.
