      On August 11, 2023, we closed on our home under the impression that our house had central air, and his being one of the reasons we bought the home. Among other issues that we found with the home, this one was something that was never disclosed but advertised wit the listing, claiming there was central air. It was installed, very obviously many years ago, but was never looked at or touched. With the price paid for the home, having to fork out thousands more on replacing a central air system is not something that we planned to do, nor can afford given the money we filed out for the purchase of the house. There was a gas leak, the cable to the house was thrown at the bottom of a tree, the AC doesn’t work, and the sink leaks. All of those are easily fixable, and we are happy to do so, as well as the doors not closing that they credited us $500 for upon closing. They claim to have sent 2 guys out on 2 separate occasions. I work from home, and they only sent a guy out once, 2 days after we moved in, who ended up just telling us accidentally that he was told not to touch the AC, just the furnace, as an HVAC contractor. We would like the situation rectified with the replacement of the unit, or some sort of compromise to have it replaced. We have a family of 5, one of us being a 4 month old baby. We are dealing with this heat without being told it was broken, and then nothing is being done about it.
