    I purchased two tires for my truck 08/09/2023. On August 28th I was heading to a load pick up driving on Hwy95 in Florida’s when on of the tires I purchased blew out . There was no holes or objects on the road that I have noticed. My wife contacted Syracuse Retreaders the next morning and after sending some picture she was told that it was clear that this was an impact break. On September 11th the second tire blew out in a very similar way, this time causing lots of damage to my truck and trailer. Again my wife contacted Syracuse Retreaders and received the same feedback. She questioned them how could that happen only to the two tires we purchased from them out of a total of 18. I have never experienced such a damaged to any of my tires in almost five years of driving semi trucks. On the second time it caused damage to the truck exhaust, one of the brakes, diesel line from reefer, bottom of trailer insulation , truck mudflat, and some wires.I am attaching pictures of the tires, receipt from Syracuse Retreaders and receipts from each replacement.

    I am aware of the
    disgruntled customer. I explained to the customer that the tire failed due to
    an “impact break”. I informed the customer that we cannot offer a warranty for
    a damage that resulted from improper use, and that we need the defective tire
    to inspect it. I tried to educate the customer about the effects of a tire
    "impact break", but the customer insisted that we were responsible
    for the problem. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we work hard to
    maintain good relationships with our clients.

    We have provided with all pictures we have as proof of what happened and that the tires were purchased at Syracuse reatreaters. I understand that they have a convenient explanation for the incidents. Again my point is that if it was a case of bad usage it would not happen only to the two tires that were purchased from them in little over a month. Unfortunately I am based out of Florida and am not able to drive all the way to NY to get or not  reimbursed for a defective  tire.
