    So I applied for this pca class at the beginning of the month it was 50$ non refundable deposit . So fast forward til July 25th I was in the hospital from 3am-til 7:40am yesterday I called in to my classes because that is mandatory to tell them if your gonna be late to it ! So I did so the lady told me okay and to still come in as I’m on my way there she calls and tells me I have to quit the class because I’m Already late the instructor said I’d missed too much but if I have documentation of me being in the hospital they took the documentation that I had and told me I had to leave and there was nothing they were gonna do about it ! At that time she had only gone through one skill throughout 3 whole hours of the class ! I have messages of class mates texting me as well ! This lady just chose to be rude to me and kick me out of her class no matter what I went through that night she didn’t even care that hurt my heart because I worked so hard for this class I got up eyed morning to go one morning I’m not feeling good so I go late she kicked me out I would like my money back and also to sue them because I still came in there feeling horrible because I cared I wanted this certification sooo bad and I can cry rn because nothing ever seems to go right for ever so yes this hurts me a lot because it’s just me and I try I walked over 100 miles to get to mattydale after leaving the hospital just for them to treat me like my health didn’t matter and they didn’t care about what I was feeling they just wanted me out of they face crying and full of pain for how I was treated I would never ever recommend them to anyone she made it seem Like since I came in at 11am it was a problem when I had to walk there because there was no busses **** was over 30$ she didn’t care not one bit

    For the sake of acting in good faith, we issued a refund of $50 on 7/26. Proof of refund to her original card payment is attached. The problem at the incident was that the student was more than an hour later than she originally said she would be on the phone, which is why she was not allowed in by the teacher. Originally, she was still being offered the chance to make up the missed day in the next class, but after a very angry and aggressive response by the student, her sponsoring agency rescinded her scholarship and the student was not interested in paying out of pocket.  If the student is interested in paying full tuition without sponsorship ($490), she can still be welcome in another class, although we would recommend taking class with a different teacher so that she can have a fresh start instead of rehashing the conflict upon return. Although her $50 deposit was non-refundable, we refunded it to her since we did feel sympathy for the nature of her lateness even though it was unexcused.
