    Some friends purchased my significant other and I 2 gift certificates in the amount of $60 on 12/27/19. On 1/4/23 I decided I finally felt comfortable to use 1 of the gift certificates since the pandemic began. I called the business to confirm that I could use it for a back massage because it was for a foot massage and was told I could. Upon arrival I handed over the gift certificate and was told it had expired. However there is no expiration date on the gift certificate. The receptionist called the owner and attempted to convey to the owner what I was saying since but there was great difficulty because the owner doesn't speak English. In the end I was told all they could offer me what half price for each gift certificate. I declined and left. The next day I called the owner Lauren in the morning but she immediately told me she would have her receptionist call me back. The receptionist called me back and tried to convey what I was saying to her again and I was then told all they could offer me was a 20 min foot massage. I again decided. I decided to go into the business again in hopes of finding someone who I could clearly communicate with, but the owner was no longer there and again the receptionist. I showed her the gift certificates which she took and she called the owner and again I was told all they would offer me was a 20 min foot massage. She was sorry but they can't do anything else.
