We are seeking help in obtaining a refund from our daughter's former club lacrosse team Salt City Snipers Lacrosse. The cost of the club team is $3,000 for the year which goes from August 1st 2023 - August 1st 2024. Our daughter was released from this club 4 months into a 13 month program. This is tantamount to being "fired" and she did not leave of her own accord. At the time of her release we had already paid $2,250 of the year's fees. Attached please find a sheet with highlighted yellow which shows all the services, practices and tournaments provided in that year which our daughter did not receive - despite us paying the fees for those services. The yellow highlighted are opportunities our daughter was not able to participate in because the club "released her." Also please find screen shots of the release from club Director Kate N*** as well as other documentation relative to the club. We certainly signed a contract aware that if we chose to leave the team we would not be refunded - however, we did not choose to leave - our daughter was forced to leave after the club was paid the majority of their fees.

I am emailing to justify our parting ways with player, ***** ********. She played all fall and broke club rules, after she and her father were told it was a breach of club and tournament rules to guest at the same tournament with a different travel team. In addition, she was lying to college coaches stating she had multiple offers, using my name as a reference, which I told her not to do. She also harassed college coaches via email. I took multiple calls from college coaches where I had to apologize for her going rogue and explaining how she is representing herself, is not how we instruct our players to do.  Here is link to our Website, where it is listed under FAQ's:FAQs – Salt City Snipers LacrosseMy daughter plays on her town/scholastic team. Is that an issue? Now we encourage all of our athletes to play as much as they would like, including multiple sports for their town and school. However, playing for additional club travel lacrosse teams is not permitted. Here is a link to tournament rules:*********************************************************************************** Storm (the other travel club she played for) had plenty of players, we have a picture with 15 girls, and it only takes 11 to play. I have attached the picture. I specifically told them no when they asked and stated it broke club and tournament rules. She lied on multiple emails to coaches stating she had multiple offers. I told them numerous times that is not how we do business. She harassed coaches, by sending them weekly emails stating, " I see you hosted another Sniper, and that should have been me". We refunded her $750. That is our resolution. I have attached the date of refund. They originally stated we fraudulently charged her credit card $750. We do not have control of her account, and when they registered, they selected auto deduct. They never deleted their account with us, so they were charged. However, after hearing their complaint, we did issue an additional refund of $784.80 on 1/31/24 transaction id # ********.Please let me know if you need more examples or documentation.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why are below. While it is true that Janie did play for another team while at our final tournament, that was because she was not ALLOWED to play with Salt City Snipers. The 2025 Coach told her prior to taking the field that she was not allowed to shoot or dodge. She was to be a vessel only and if she did anything else - she would be benched.Further, please see text messages from Snipers head Kate N*** where she is using other teams as "leverage" - not our daughter. Please also seen screen shots from texts from Snipers head Kate N*** which show they were reading all of Janie's communications - surely if there was false information or "lies" as they suggest - they had the ability to close her account and be responsible for that as well.We are satisfied with the refund we have received, but we will not sit idly by while adults in a position of power make false accusations in an attempt to slander children. This is a tactic that is reprehensible. No child is responsible for the reputation of a club or recruiter within that club - to suggest that is not only ridiculous but bordering on harassment/intimidation/bullying of a child.Again, we are satisfied with the refund but will not abide the slander.

    Regards,
