    I contracted with Earth Tender Tree Care verbally in May 2022 to have two trees in my backyard cut down and one of the stumps ground out and all the debris carted away. Mr. Steven J***** (the owner and the person that I have dealt with all along came out the same day). The business had good reviews and an A+ rating by the BBB. It took him two weeks to come out and start the job. He only took branches off the taller tree as I asked him to clear them out first so that the roofers could work unobstructed. It took two more weeks for him to come out and take the top of the tree off and cart the branches away. I then paid him $2000.00 at his request. Then it was another month before he came and took the rest of the tree down and started on the second tree. I paid him the balance of $2500.00 as he said he would come out the next day and finish the job. He has not yet come to finish the job and will not answer my texts. So in the meantime my back yard is filled with branches and tree trunks. The second tree is only partially out. One week ago I sent him a text that I wanted the work complete in two weeks or I would contact my attorney.
