Poorly designed, bad steel, I’ve cut under 10,000 board feet and it’s so bagged out that it doesn’t cut straight, blades come off, constantly need to adjust blade alignment, etc., etc…I can’t believe that they are allowed to sell these pieces of poorly engineered garbage. Should have spent the extra money to get a wood-miser, overall, thoroughly disgusted and would never recommend that anyone purchase one! There should be a class action lawsuit if it were possible! Or at least they should shut down so they can’t rob anyone else.

They practice the bait and switch method when I start and had received
An approved letter for a norwood saw mill mn27 which is a far better unit I receive a call from a person that said he was with norwood and said they had on sale attachment for the norwood unit which I was already approved for stating that it with this package would come with all this extra stuff and I wasn't sure but I thought I had already finished with my order and was if this was a different order in addition to my order then ok well when my unit arrived the norwood mn27 had be changed to a inferior sawmill by frontier sawmill which was not what I wanted
From the third day of having this frontier I have been trying return it and they keep giving me the run around won't take it back or send me the unit I want the will sale me the one I wanted If I pay to have the new one shipped pay to have the one that I didn't order shipped back a are back Stepping every chance they say that they stand behind there product 30 money back garrantee is a lie cause if you cans get and one to reply and then

I purchased an MN27 sawmill in April of 2022 and received it in June of 2022, which is not a bad delivery time, but there were lots of problems with the kit. The Norwood sawmills are just a kit of parts with poor instructions. I took me over a week to assemble it. The assembly instructions were poor at best and many of the part numbers did not corollate with the instructions. The instructions are an assembly of instructions from all their different mills, so they often don't match the actual mill you buy. I tried several times to contact Norwood by both email and phone without success. They have no customer service at all. I later tried to order added parts. I emailed them and phoned them, without success. Weeks later I was finally able to get through by phone after waiting 25 minutes. They say that their sawmills are made in the US/Canada, but that is questionable as the engine is made in china, the bolts provided are poor quality from china and other parts are just poor quality like the blade lube system.
Overall, I am very disappointed with the company and their product!

I own the hd36. With max length of 16 feet. The machine makes me money but im extremely displeased with it. I have been operating it since October 2021 and so far I have rails that have flared at the top all the way down the mill so rails are not hardened steel. Some spots flare more than others so I have spots that catch. My back rest are bent from rolling the logs. the brackets that hold them are bent because they are made from thin gauge metal. The screws in the log dogs and backs rest have seized in them even with proper lubrication. Paint is peeling off all over and primer was not used. Everything comes in 4 foot sections which would be fine only if the rails could be at least 8 foot sections so I have less bumps because not all the holes line up so the rails are never perfect. All in all I wish I would have waited 6 more months and spent 35k and bought the sawmill I originally wanted instead of going with my Norwood. I have made it work but only by doing my own modifications. If the try to sell you on the off loaders don't buy them. I have yet to use them because they are constantly in the way of the logs unless you mill logs less than 15 inches but you still gotta stop and unbolt all them raise them bolt them back and it slows you down. The ship lap attachments does not come with instructions so mine has sat in the shed because I don't know how it works. Just a big waist of money. I'm selling mine as soon as I get a replacement
