    I gave this business a deposit September 2024 to secure an apartment that someone was living in. The apartment is still not ready for move into. They showed me a townhome that would be similar to the one that I would be renting on or about October 1st, 2024. I did not like the smell of the apartment, the appliances looked bad, and other reasons, etc. Due to this and other reasons, I decided that I did not want the 3 bedroom that was not available yet. I asked for my deposit back due to the shape and smell of the apartment that was shown because it was indicative of what their apartments are like. I didn’t signed a lease, and I cancelled on or about October 2nd, 2024. This gives them more than enough time to rent out an apartment to someone else and they will not lose money because of my cancellation. The 3 bedroom is not ready or available yet. There is still someone living there.

    I am a resident of Deerfield Place apartments and am paying $1885 per month in rent. My shower is currently unusable due to a large crack in the plastic tub and I alerted them to this problem 2 months ago. They have asked me to use the model apartment shower (available only outside business hours) while mine is unusable but I have medical concerns that require use of the shower immediately and often multiple times per day. Due to this, It is extremely inconvenient and unsanitary to go over to another apartment each time I need to clean myself. I requested a reduction in rent for the month given that my unit does not currently have the basic necessities and they refused. I believe it is wrong for me to pay full price for the apartment and not have access to a private shower on demand. I am paying for this and not receiving it.

    Received a call from ***** stating that the business has resolved the consumer's issue.  They have installed a new bathtub surround and has given the consumer partial rent credit.
