Very unprofessional people to do business with. When I had originally called to schedule an appraisal, the woman I spoke to on the phone had requested that I call HER prior to our agreed upon appointment to REMIND THEM that we were scheduled on that certain time. I thought this was a little absurd and should have been the business reminding the client of the appointment. However, I ended up canceling the appointment altogether the week prior to when we were scheduled to have the appraisal. There was no answer when I called, so I left a voicemail explaining that I was indeed canceling with them. Fast forward to the day of the original scheduled appointment, and my mother received a really nasty phone call from this woman wondering why we were not at the house for the appraisal. The woman on the phone was very disrespectful, blaming my mother and I for the guy having to drive 40 miles one way to come to the house. She continued to tell my mother that we would in fact be getting a bill for the inconvenience of travel because the appointment was not canceled ahead of time. After this information was relayed to me, I immediately called the office back and was met with a very disrespectful woman on the other line, presumably the same woman my mother had just received a call from. I told the woman that I had called them the week prior and when the voicemail picked up, I left them a message stating that we would be canceling. This woman immediately got defensive and stated that normally they receive emails from clients canceling (which had never been the case with our situation - majority of our conversations happened over the phone). I told her I did not appreciate the nasty disrespect my mother received. The woman snapped back that I won't have to worry about anything more, that they would not be sending a bill our way. I told them that if they did, we would not be paying it. And if this is the case, I will be filing another BBB requesting a resolution. Awful business.
