    My son who is a college student at ********** ** ********** was in an accident and the police had to have his car towed and contact this company. They towed my sons car less then 2 miles at the time of the accident no one had given my son any information about the tow. I immediately found out through the police who towed the vehicle and contacted them to find out how I could get the vehicle and I was asked who is my insurance company and that my insurance company should contact Wilcox. At no point did they disclose any fees. A few days passed and I contacted a local collision shop that was close to the Wilcox business to ask if they could give me an estimate on damages. That is when I found out all of the fees Wilcox was charging for this less than 2 mile tow. It ended up being over $1000. I found out they were charging a $85 daily storage fee, $250 wrecker fee, $350 recovery fee, $35 gate fee and $150 tow fee plus tax. I just couldn't believe it when I got that bill. My sons car was not leaking and it could be driven onto a flatbed. This has got to be illegal's

    Called business and spoke with Gary and this was relayed: The consumer called and asked why didn't we call her and tell her where her car was.  I told her that is not our responsibility.  It is her responsibility to call the police and find that information out.  I really don't know how long her vehicle was here.  I told her that the best thing was for her to call her insurance and go from there.  As far as the pricing it is the same for everyone across the board.  Times have changed and prices are not what they use to be.  The vehicle was taken to ********* ********* .
