Contractor was hired to renovate and refinish 3 bathrooms, a basement, and the kitchen/dining room ceiling and floor per the scope of work document and agreed to provisions. Contractor was paid in full to complete the 3 bathrooms and basement but not one room has been finished, all rooms have fit and finish issues and the contractor intentionally broke the plumbing in the wall of the last 2nd floor bathroom they worked in and it is leaking into the 1st floor ceiling of the dining room.

He has yet to pay $6000 on so called fully paid for work Has not communicated proficiently in the last 4 months, I have been trying to reach him and go back to finish the work and he doesn’t respond for days.  he has repeatedly called my employees slurs and horrible names Would drunk text and call late at night and complain even though he didn’t say anything during the day.  There is no intentional leaks anywhere, if he let me back into his house 4 months ago I would have ripped out that ceiling and found the leak he is talking about. only leak that I was present for was the sharkbite that he installed 5 years ago broke while turning the water back on to the house.  So I had to fix it.  Atleast 45% of the money is materials still installed in the designated rooms and payments were received after he checked the work was done.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.    As you can read in the Brinser response, he does not take responsibility and address any point of my complaint. His response is very immature and unprofessional and he resorts to launching fictitious attacks against a paying customer. In fact, he is the only contractor that I've ever had that has yelled and screamed at me (a paying customer).  I've attached the original contract with my responses asking 'what about the other things we discussed when we walked through together'. That is par for the course. Everything that was supposed to be done was set on day one. Nothing was added late or after the work started.  Only one agreement with him was made. His company would fully renovate and refinish the rooms, and I would prime and paint my walls and ceilings. No other agreements were made with Brinser. He shuns his responsibilities and does not take responsibility for his poor communication. There is no proof of any off hour texts or calls. That is another lie.  I've had 2 contractors come through to review the poor work and quote quality repairs and fixing the fit and finish issues. Brinser is responsible to refund me or pay the selected contractor to fix his poor craftsmanship.
