      I was in a car accident on 11/11/22 that resulted in damage to the back end of my car (trunk and bumper). My car was towed to this facility to repair only what was damaged from the accident, as requested from insurance (Replace the trunk lid, and rear bumper)I had a custom wrap that was put on in 2021 that cost $4000. There was a concern about the replacement parts not matching the rest of the car because of this wrap. There was a brief conversation about possibly either removing the wrap, or to have the replacement parts wrapped to match the entire car. Nothing was set in stone, and the owner told me that car wrapping is actually not a service he provides. With that being said, I told him I wanted to contact my insurance to see if they would pay to have the new parts wrapped because then I will take my car elsewhere to do that. My goal was to not pay out of pocket. If the insurance wouldnt cover that, then I would like an estimate as to how much it would be to remove the wrap. Whichever was cheaper for me. In that same conversation, I ended it with please do not do anything without letting me know, so we are both on the same page about 3 times I told him. My auto claim adjuster was sick with ***** & out for a week, so the answer to my question about the wrap was delayed. I had kept in touch with the owner during this time as well. By the time I had gotten an answer from my adjuster, the owner went ahead and removed the wrapping from the entire car and ruined the underlying paint. He never informed me that he was doing this, & I never gave him permission to do so. (As I was waiting for an answer). I have done everything I can to resolve this matter civilly but the owner is not willing to compromise or offer any corrections without an additional payment of $2600. Which I should not have to pay for his mistakes and damages. I have sent him another email trying to compromise and he replied with a very unprofessional message in which I do not want to go further.
