I work for a transit organization. We have all video/audio recordings on hand. A driver was parked at a designated area at a grocery store. Security patrol drove over full speed and requested the driver move. The driver alerted the patrol that he was on time for his client, the client being picked up is visually impaired, and needs to be picked up at the door of the store (which was further clarified by the night manager Matt of the store.) The patrol stated drivers must park across the parking lot, which is both dangerous, and a complete violation of several key components of the Americans With Disabilities Act. The driver refused to comply and the passenger came out and boarded. The driver proceeded to contact his organization, and by law, an incident report needs to be filed. The driver attempted to obtain a name or badge number from the patrol, so he could properly fill out the report. The patrol told the driver he can "**** *** ****", that he was a "sarcastic a******", and he can "call the ****** office if he has a problem" (but conveniently forgot the office number when asked), that "if a person can walk around a 700,000 square foot store they most certainly can walk across a parking lot, blind or not", then referred to the clients race by saying "them type of people just fake it until someone feels bad." The driver obtained the license plate, and ****** provided a number/address. The number was utilized 36 times in the last 2 days, with multiple extensions and messages left, but to no avail. The office is also locked down and dark. The driver left after the patrol stated he would make sure he reported the driver as threatening, harassing, and menacing. Footage has been obtained that the driver maintained professionalism during the 7 minute conversation (most conveniently while the patrol was "terrified and harassed") with the exception of one comment, being: "I hope if you ever become disabled, no one gives a **** about your needs." This security is garbage.

This company racially profiles African Americans. I was walking my dog and whoever was running security followed me throughout my walk, and kept circling back to watch me. I tried to engage to see what the problem was but he wouldn’t speak. It made me very uncomfortable. Keep in mind it was 1230 in the afternoon. I wasn’t wearing any kind of face covering or trespassing on anyones property.
