On April 20, 2022 I signed a contract and paid ******** Logo to create a new website for my business. The contract I signed and agreed to along with the email exchange between myself and the company manager is attached this complaint. Although I was advised the work on my website would start immediately and would be completed within 6 to 8 weeks, the actual work on my website and logo did not begin until June 2022. There were multiple issues with the websites content, i.e. plagiarism, which resulted in me creating 90% of the content for my website. There was also a lack of clear and consistent communication between myself and the project manager (s) regarding the site and its launch. On September 2, 2022 I requested a partial refund due to the delays with the website's completion and all of the technical and communication issues experienced. My requests were met with an email advising I give the company another opportunity to provide exceptional service. I was assured my website would be up and running within the month. It is now July 5, 2023 and I am still without a functioning website. This company did not follow through with completing the agreed upon services within the specified time-frame. To add, the project manager reset my established websites domain info. which has resulted in my established website shutting down. My business is being adversely impacted by this company's negligence, in that I currently have no online presence and my client engagement has significantly declined over the course of the last month (as both my primary and the test site are now down).I have exhausted my efforts in trying to get a resolution. I have made multiple attempts to connect with the company manager, *********************, but I have been unsuccessful. I have provided all of the information and access needed to get my site up and running but to no avail. I am requesting they complete the agreed upon services as expeditiously as possible (no later than 7/12/2023).

At this time, I have been contacted directly by New York Logo Design regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The company has reported multiple excuses/reasons as to why they have been unable to transfer the website. With each excuse I have followed up with a resolution, i.e. you need a new host for your website that will allow us access to the database to transfer the site. I established an account with ********* which allowed them access to the database and a means to transfer the site. They reported issues with migrating/transferring the site to *********. The website existed on ********* for 3 days and was riddled with popups. They addressed the issue but then I noticed the domain name was switched back to "***********************." Their test site. They then stated the domain name was the issue, but I advised them to use the Wordpress domain on the account I have already provided them access to which is listed on my ********* account. The excuses have been ongoing and perpetual and there seems to be no end in site.
