On August 18, 2021, I made a purchase of a chair for $304.05 from ****************. Regrettably, upon its arrival, I discovered an issue where the left armrest was lower than the right one, rendering the chair unable to slide under my desk properly. Despite my attempts to address the matter over a period of two years, I found myself unsure of the appropriate course of action.Having become aware of the lifetime warranty provided by ****** *****, the entity referred to by Officesupply, I promptly contacted their customer service. However, I was dismayed to learn that I would be required to bear a $35 shipping fee for the repair, a charge not specified in the warranty agreement. This fee was requested of me on July 31, 2023, in order to proceed with the chair's resolution. It is crucial to note that the chair remains undamaged since its initial delivery, and I maintain that it is in the same condition as it was upon arrival. Consequently, I am dissatisfied with both the warranty description and the level of service provided. I believe that a lifetime warranty should encompass the resolution of defects at no additional expense to the customer, especially when the issue is unrelated to damage.I respectfully seek a clarification and resolution from ****** ***** concerning this unexpected charge. I trust that they will review this matter with fairness and integrity, ensuring that their warranty obligations are upheld in a manner consistent with industry standards. A prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter would be greatly appreciated, as it would demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction and uphold the integrity of the warranty agreement. In conclusion, I wish to express my disappointment with the lack of transparency in the warranty terms and the subsequent service experience. I remain hopeful that this matter will be addressed expeditiously and with utmost professionalism. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
